  • Habilitated doctor of economic science in the field of finance and associate professor in Warsaw School of Economics (SGH); BOŚ Supervisory Board member since February 2016. Mr Ślązak runs the Department of Retail and Corporate Banking in the Banking Institute of the SGH. A member of the Polish Association of Finance and Banking (PSFIB), Alumni Global Village Programme - Lehigh University w USA and The European Money and Finance Forum (SUERF).


    Emil Ślązak completed a scientific internship program at the Victoria University of Wellington – School of Economics of Finance, New Zealand. In his scientific and research work Prof. Ślązak specializes in analysing development of financial innovations and models of transformation of banks’ financial intermediation. Author of nearly 70 peer-reviewed scientific publications and expert papers on economics and finance, including two monographs. A speaker at a number of scientific seminars, both national and international.

  • Since December 2017 as BOŚ S.A. Management Board Vice President, Mr Garbarczyk has been supervising the Bank’s risk area. Graduated from Warsaw University (Department of Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technology and Department of Economic Science).


    Mr Arkadiusz Garbarczyk started his career in the banking sector in 2000 on the position of economist, and afterwards, financial markets strategist in BRE Bank. For seven years he was in charge of the product offer, pricing policy, distribution channels and management of the credit portfolio risk in Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego. In Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości Mr Garbarczyk supervised management of the credit portfolio risk and credit risk monitoring and rating. He also chaired the Supervisory Board of BPS Bank’s Brokerage House. Afterwards, in Bank Ochrony Środowiska Arkadiusz Garbarczyk took the position of Managing Director running the Risk Rating and Management Division.

  • On the position of BOŚ S.A. Management Board Vice President, since November 2019, Jerzy Zań has been supervising the Bank’s business area, including business centres and branches, banking operations, ecological and structural projects financing, product development and factoring. Mr Zań holds the positions of the First Vice Chairman of the Head Office Credit Committee, Vice Chairman of the Credit Risk Management Committee, and a member of the Assets and Liabilities Committee.


    Jerzy Zań is an economist and manager with many years of banking experience, graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (finance and banking) and MBA studies at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. For 20 years now Mr Zań has been specializing in sales management, product offers, incomes and revenues, back office, customer service, as well as structuring and implementation of solutions dedicated to the most demanding customers. Mr Jerzy Zań is an enthusiast of digitalization, new technologies and how they are applied in banking to boost sales and enhance effectiveness. Vice President Zań used this knowledge when working for mBank S.A., Alior Bank S.A., Bank BPH S.A., Bank Pekao S.A. and ING Bank N.V.

  • Radosław Paweł Rasała
    Education:
    Completed a Master’s Programme and a Doctoral Programme at the Warsaw School of Economics and
    an MBA Programme (specialisation: finance) in London – MBA awarded by the Imperial College and
    the University of London.
    Professional experience:
    He has acquired his professional experience both in the energy industry and outside thereof – the scope
    of activity of enterprises and companies which he has worked from comprises conventional power
    generation and renewable energy sources. Mr Radosław Rasała also worked at private commercial
    enterprises (as Commercial Director), as well as private producing enterprises, e.g. Wkręt-Met
    Sp. z o.o. – as Chief Financial Officer. His previous workplace was an enterprise with approx. 17
    thousand employees – the largest electricity generator in Poland: PGE Górnictwo i Energetyka
    Konwencjonalna SA with its registered office in Bełchatów – where he worked in the years 2015–2018
    as Deputy Chair of the Management Board in charge of Financial Affairs, and temporary acted as Chair
    of the Company’s Management Board, directing the work of the Management Board.
    Mr Radosław Rasała was a member of supervisory boards of enterprises such as Zakłady Energetyki
    Cieplnej Sp. z o.o. in Katowice and Beskidzka Energetyka SA.
    In the years 2004–2007, he worked for BOT Górnictwo i Energetyka (BOT GiE SA), where he organised
    and developed the activity of BOT GiE SA in the scope of financial and commercial relations between
    companies which form the holding (the three major power plants in Bełchatów, Opole and Turów) and
    the parent company BOT GiE SA. He was also responsible for the sales of electricity and trade in fuels,
    as well as conducted profitable purchase and sale transactions in the scope of carbon emission rights
    as part of the European Union Emission Trading Scheme in Poland and abroad.
    Author of publications in the field of management accounting and controlling. He holds professional
    qualifications in the scope of accounting.
    In 2018, he was also Deputy Chair of EURACOAL with its seat in Brussels – an international coal
    industry organisation, where he promoted new technologies for coal fuels with the aim of satisfying
    future requirements of the EU climate policy, as well as promoting cooperation of the coal sector and
    conventional power generation with the renewable energy sources sector.
