Management Board

  • Economist and manager with many years of banking experience.

    Since 2017 Bogusław Białowąs has been part of Bank Ochrony Środowiska, where while supervising the amendment of the company’s Framework Development Strategy for 2016-2020, he put the Bank on the path of systematic growth and strengthened its position in the realm of financing environmental undertakings and energy efficiency projects.

    Before, for many years (2002 – 2017), he worked in Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, where he supervised the bank’s restructuring and debt collection policies. From 2010 Mr Białowąs was a BGK representative responsible for designing and implementing government housing programs aimed at improving the condition of the Polish housing market („Rodzina na swoim” and „Mieszkanie dla Młodych” programs) and supporting council and public housing construction. Bogusław Białowąs co-created models of allocation of commercial banks’ funds and of transaction risk mitigation.

    In 1995-2010 Bogusław Białowąs organised and supervised operations of non-performing loans divisions in organisations like the already mentioned Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Bud-Bank, Prosper Bank, and in Kredyt Trade (Kredyt Bank Group).

    A graduate of Warsaw University, Department of Economic Science and doctoral studies at Warsaw School of Economics.

    Author of papers and articles about banking, including restructuring, also in the scope of programs which support housing construction. In 2014 Mr Białowąs was awarded the Honorary Badge of the President of the National Bank of Poland for “Contributions to the banking of the Republic of Poland.”

    Volunteer in educational programs like “Młody Obywatel” and “Bakcyl”, which popularize financial awareness among young people. Business coach, holder of the International Education Society (IES) certificate.

  • Graduate of the Warsaw University, Department of Mathematics, Mechanics and Information Technology and Department of Economic Sciences. Mr Garbarczyk started his professional career in the Ministry of Finance as Economist in the Department of Financial Policy, Analyses and Statistics.

    Arkadiusz Garbarczyk has been working in banking since 2000. He started working in the banking sector as an economist, and then as Financial Markets Strategist in BRE Bank. Then, for seven years Mr Garbarczyk was in charge of the product offer, pricing policy, distribution channels and credit portfolio risk management in Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego.

    Between 2014 and 2017 Arkadiusz Garbarczyk worked for Bank Polskiej Spółdzielczości, where he supervised credit portfolio risk management, credit risk assessment and monitoring and was Chairman of Supervisory Board of BPS Bank Brokerage House.

    Afterwards, in Bank Ochrony Środowiska, Mr Garbarczyk worked on the position of Managing Director in charge of the Risk Assessment and Management Division.

  • In Bank Ochrony Środowiska, on the position of the Management Board Vice President, Mr Zań supervises the Bank’s business area, including business centres, financing of pro-ecology and structural projects, product development as well as factoring. Jerzy Zań is the first Deputy Chairman of the Head Office Credit Committee, Deputy Chairman of the Credit Risk Management Committee and a Member of the Assets and Liabilities Management Committee.

    An economist and manager with many years of banking experience. Vice President Jerzy Zań is a graduate of Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) (finance and banking) and MBA studies at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management. For 20 years now Mr Zań has been specializing in sales management, product offers, incomes and revenues, back office, customer service, as well as structuring and implementation of solutions dedicated to the most demanding customers. Mr Jerzy Zań is an enthusiast of digitalization, new technologies and how they are applied in banking to boost sales and enhance effectiveness. Vice President Zań used this knowledge when working for mBank, Bank BPH S.A., Bank Pekao S.A. and ING Bank N.V.

    extensive experience in the scope of owner supervision of companies with a State Treasury

  • Iwona Duda
    Graduate of the Faculty of Socio-Economics at the Warsaw School of Economics as well as the National
    School of Public Administration in Warsaw and of the Studies for Investment Advisers – Analysis of

    financial market for more than 20 years now.
    She was awarded an honorary “Badge of Merit for the Banking in the Republic of Poland”

    Pension Fund Supervision Authority and the Securities and Stock Exchange Supervision Authority,

    She served as Deputy Chairman of the Insurance and Pension Fund Supervision Authority and Director
    of the Department of Financial Institutions at the Ministry of Finance.
    In the years 1998–2005, she held the position of Director at the Pension Fund Supervision Authority,
    and then at the Office of the Insurance and Pension Fund Supervision Authority.
    In the 1990s, she worked at the Ministry of Finance at the Public Debt Department, as well as at the
    Office of the Committee for European Integration as Deputy Director of the Department of Foreign Aid,
    Funds and Community Programmes.
    She also worked at the National Bank of Poland as an adviser at the Strategic Management Department.
    She has held numerous posts at financial market institutions, including the positions of Member of the
    Supervisory Board of Powszechne Towarzystwo Emerytalne PZU S.A., Deputy Chair of the Supervisory
    Board of Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, Member of the Supervisory Board of Krajowy Depozyt

    Education:

    He has acquired his professional experience both in the energy industry and outside thereof – the scope

    conventional power generation with the renewable energy sources sector.
