ESG Strategy and Reporting

Responsible business is not only the desire to increase profits, but also care and real commitments to the environment, society, economy, customers, shareholders, employees, as well as compliance with the highest standards of corporate governance.

Bank Ochrony Środowiska places particular emphasis on achieving the sustainable development goals adopted by the Member States of the United Nations in the AGENDA 2030 resolution. We recognize that all change must begin with ourselves; therefore, we have developed and are implementing an ESG Strategy.

The objectives of our ESG Strategy are measurable and allow us to monitor progress of its implementation. In accordance with the CSRD Directive, we prepare an annual Sustainability Report, which is assured by an independent auditor.

In 2021, we obtained an ESG Rating for the first time and subsequently improved it in the following years (2022 and 2023). Our ambition is to consistently maintain the highest possible results.
